| ACME designers can take any basic idea and develop a pleasing, funcitional sign. The smallest and largest signs are designed to achieve a specific advertising effect at a prescribed location. The designers follow the preliminary consultation with the client to determine the necessary specifications (location, size, material, etc.). After the specifications are determined and satisfied, an original sketch is made. If the design is furnished by an architect or other firm, ACME's staff will adapt that design to conform to practical installation and to comply with any local building and electrical codes. ACME has a Texas State Sign Contractors's License, which is required by the State of Texas which allows us to work in any area or city in the state.
After a sign sketch receives complete approval and acceptance, it is ready to proceed to production. Actual construction of the sign will be completed in several departments under tight supervision.
Installing or erecting signs, (either the signs ACME manufacturers or those shipped to ACME from other manufacturers), is an important part of the business. ACME's 85', 65', and 52' aerial crane trucks are important tools in performing the installation of a sign and in the repair and maintenance of signs already installed, and they enhance the company's reliability in performing maintenance on other existing signage. ACME has a staff of qualified employees who utilize an array of modern efficient equipment to serve our customer's needs.
ACME is licensed to perform work in all the cities we work in and carry complete liability and worker's compensation coverage. Certificates of Insurance are available if requested. ACME is able to furnish a wide scope of signage services including design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance. Our company has been in business since 1951, and has a solid repuatation in the Abilene and surrounding area. We would appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you.
